I'M NEW HERE...

WHAT TIMES ARE YOUR SERVICES?

Worship is at 10:30 am and 6:00 pm on Sundays. Sunday school meets prior to the 10:30 service at 9:00. Prayer meeting is at 6:30 pm on Wednesday evenings.

WHERE DO I PARK WHEN I VISIT?

Parking is immediately across Hickory Avenue from the sanctuary for easy access, and if it's raining, there is a pull through. There is also parking located between the church building and Burger King, as well as on the north side of the building close to Wild Olive.

WHAT MINISTRIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR MY CHILDREN/YOUTH?

Ministries are available for every age group in your family; babies to college student.  Ministries are planned far enough in advance so parents can adjust calendars and attend with their child or student.  There is a secure nursery space for our babies and toddlers. FBC leaders and volunteers encourage other adults and parents to attend each event for children and get to know parents of the other children. We’re all about building a church family who enjoys one another and grows together in reaching our community.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO CHURCH?

You’ll be with friends and family… and some folks you may not know. Jeans and khakis are popular. Come as you feel comfortable.

WHAT MINISTRIES DO YOU SUPPORT?

First Baptist Church supports each ministry of the Southern Baptist Convention through the Cooperative Program as well as local ministry organizations such as Okaloosa Baptist Association, Samaritan House, Crestview Pregnancy Center, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and more.

HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO SPEAK WITH A MINISTER?

The first contact you should make is to the church secretarial staff by phone or email or drop by the church office. One of the secretaries will direct the phone call or contact the appropriate minister.

HOW CAN I BECOME A PART OF FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH?

The membership of First Baptist Church is made up of believers who have placed their faith and trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and who have made that decision public through baptism by immersion, and who are committed to growing spiritually and becoming involved in personal ministry in the life of FBC members and program ministries. Those wanting to join FBC should read and agree to the church covenant. Our church staff would enjoy answering any questions regarding membership or involvement.
