The Student Ministry at FBC is committed to providing a place where students are able to grow and a place where they can begin to serve the Lord and fellow believers. We have a variety of programs and events that are designed to encourage, challenge, and equip students to make a difference in their world.
Our ministry exists to reach out to non-believing students; disciple them for life change; connect them with other Christian students; equip them for authentic worship; and build the church as students reach students!
Geared towards 7th grade through college age, students meet weekly at the Lighthouse for a time of worship, fellowship, and a message from the Word.
Students who are active in youth choir can attend a once a year, one week choir tour trip (free!) and homecoming concert. There is also a once a year trip to camp. Other yearly events include bonfires, mission trip opportunities, community events, SYATP rally, True Love Waits rally, Disciple Now weekend, sport camps, service opportunities, and Christmas skating/shopping trips. Students also have the opportunity to be involved in the youth praise band/team which sings on Wednesday and Sunday nights.
The weekly calendar is designed to reach students and build relationships. Most of our weekly events take place at The LIGHTHOUSE; a place that is designed to provide the best atmosphere for students to worship together and reach out to the rest of the community.
