PRAYER MINISTRY

Scripture is very clear on our responsibility and privilege as believers to call upon the Lord.  The Prayer Ministry of First Baptist Church is primarily composed of two ministries:

Intercessory Prayer

Those involved in intercessory prayer intercede on behalf of members and families who are close to their heart.  Members who are a part of this ministry reserve the prayer room for seasons of pray for individuals and specific concerns.

This ministry also has prayer warriors who set aside each worship service to pray for those in attendance and for the staff... especially giving time to pray for those who are being drawn to the Lord during the invitation times given during our worship services.

First Monday Prayer

First Monday Prayer is a prayer walk ministry designed to give prayer support to the program ministries of First Baptist Church and those who lead them.  It is a huge encouragement to leaders and staff to see small notes posted in each room noting that those who lead and attend have been uplifted in prayer.

If you would like to be a part of this ministry please call the church office. We'll help you get in touch with the prayer leaders, and you'll be on your way to investing in the lives of those who attend and those who lead in ministry. Everyone is invited to join us in prayer walks every First Monday of each month, 7:00 p.m.
