Men's Ministry
Becoming more like Jesus everyday

Discipleship - Walking with Jesus everyday just like the Disciples

Calling Men to a Commitment - A Commitment to being a godly husband, a godly father, a godly friend and a disciple of Jesus on a daily basis.

Live a life so that the lost world can see that we are different because we have been with Jesus

Commit this day to the following

QUIET TIME/ BIBLE STUDY

Personal time with God is vital to personal spiritual growth: talking and spending quality time with the Lord by way of Bible study everyday.

Psalm 119:11 - Thy Word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against Thee.

PRAYER

Reserve prayer time everyday for your family, your friends, your church, your church staff and lost and dying world around you. Consider using a Prayer Journal to record not only petitions, but God's response to your worship and your needs.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 - Pray without ceasing.

FELLOWSHIP/ACCOUNTABILITY

Do not forget to spend time in fellowship with other men in church and out of church, in season and out of season, becoming Mighty Men of Valor. Consider joining a group of three meeting once a week as accountability partners. Men's Prayer Warriors meet on Sunday Nights. And there will be planned Men's EVENTS.

James 5:13-16 -Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray, is any Merry? Let him sing psalms, is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

SERVICE

Following the example set by Jesus and our Senior Men, be willing to serve others at this church in many ways, including sharing your story and witnessing to others.

Matthew 25: 37-40 - Then will the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see hungry and fed you or thirsty and gave you drink? When did we see you a stranger and took you in; or naked and clothed you? Or when did we see you sick, or in prison, and came unto you? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you; Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren you have done it unto me.

James 1 :27 - Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this; to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
